Biographies
John M. “Jay” House, Jr.
Mr. House is Managing Partner and co-founder of MackHouse. He was previously with Fifth Third Bank where he served as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager in the trust department. Prior to Fifth Third, he was President of Sycamore Capital Corporation, where he developed and managed the company’s online investment advisory service. Mr. House also worked at Terre Haute First National Bank where he served as Assistant Vice President – Investments. There he managed the banks’ $500 million investment as well as personal trust assets. Mr. House has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry.
John M. House, Sr.
Mr. House is a partner and co-founder of MackHouse. Mr. House was previouly with Wachovia Securities LLC as Senior Vice-President of Investments. He began his investment career with the Ohio Company in 1978 in Louisville , Kentucky . During these 29 years he has been involved in every aspect of the securities business from sales to corporate finance which includes the issuance of corporate equity and debt issues. Prior to 1978 Mr. House was involved in the banking and real estate business. Over the past 40 years he has served on various private and public boards. He was a member of Indiana's Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) and a member of Indiana 's Commission on Higher Education. Mr. House is a past member of Young President Organization (YPO) and is presently a member of World Presidents Organization (WPO).
